Legal Counsel
  • Monday to Friday – Perth Airport Location and moving to West Perth mid 2026

 About the Role:

The Legal team is currently seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join them on a Monday to Friday role based in Perth. Working with four other lawyers in a collegial team and reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will be providing legal advice and support on a broad range of matters. Depending on your areas of interest and expertise, you’ll have exposure to employment, safety, IP, mining, native title, heritage, environment, commercial, and construction law matters, as well as litigation and regulatory compliance. This is a 12-month Maximum Term Contract opportunity

Duties:

  • Prepare legal drafting and advice under supervision. 
  • Support the other members of the Legal team as required. 
  • Work closely with a diverse range of people across the business to help deliver business outcomes.
  • Help identify and implement business improvements.
  • Occasional site travel to the Pilbara by agreement.   

 

Skills and experience:

  • At least 5 years’ PQE in corporate, commercial, finance, resources, or regulatory law.
  • A current Legal Practice Certificate to practice law in Western Australia.
  • An excellent standard of legal knowledge, strategy, research, negotiation, and drafting skills.
